Under A Rock
Please consider the soundtrack for this week to be the song “Sports Go Sports” by Garfunkel and Oates.

Stay Strong
I recall one of the last times we kept a kid home from school because they said they weren’t feeling well in the morning (no fever, but hard to quantify symptoms like sore throat). They then proceeded to spend the whole day running around acting perfectly normal with no further complaints.

-

Dangerously Grumpy
Later, when my son heard of this exchange, he told his sister: “That is very rude.” She responded immediately, with zero remorse, “She’s dangerously grumpy.” Like, “Yeah, so? I said what I said.”

Snow Drivers
And it’s not just the inexperienced drivers – the cities aren’t really equipped to do a lot to handle uncommon extreme weather, so they can’t do much to make the roads better, either.
