Stay Strong
I recall one of the last times we kept a kid home from school because they said they weren’t feeling well in the morning (no fever, but hard to quantify symptoms like sore throat). They then proceeded to spend the whole day running around acting perfectly normal with no further complaints.

Good Old Morning
Believe it or not, I recall being rather thankful when the kids would manage to throw up directly on me, because it was so much easier to change my clothes than bedding.

From Your Mother
To be clear, this is more about predisposition to symptoms – when it comes to passing on an illness in our house it’s almost always from kid to parent and not the other way around.

I’m quite fortunate that my kids don’t throw up nearly as much as I did as a child – none of them inherited my motion sickness for basically all forms of transport (and I mostly grew out of it).
