Whenever I hear the word “majestic” I think of Prince John in Disney’s Robin Hood agreeing with his fortune telling: “Handsome, regal, majestic, ha ha. Lovable, yes, yes. Cuddly. Oh, that’s me to a T. It truly is.”

Maybe it would have worked out regardless. I know when I’m on the other end, like on servicing, I’m more likely to want to put in the extra effort to make a not-strictly-required ask work for a customer when they frame it as “yes, we know it’s our fault, but please help us anyway.”

A question everyone has been asking for weeks: “Are you ready for school to start?” Well, sure, except for this one thing that would literally prevent our child from being allowed to attend.

I met someone with this last name recently and wondered how often they get Dad-joked about their name.

Aha Moment
She ran into the room, didn’t search at all, and exclaimed “aha” as if she’d discovered him. It was perfectly convincing and very efficient, as her brother popped right out of his very good hiding spot. Real outside-the-box thinking.
